If an address is not showing up on Symbium, try the search tips below. If it still does not appear, the address may not be in the jurisdiction's official property data. Contact the jurisdiction directly to request that it be added.
Search tips and troubleshooting
Official government address data may be formatted differently from addresses on Google and other mapping services. If a property does not appear when you search on Symbium, try the following:
- Search using the street number followed by the first one or two letters of the street name. For example, to locate 8290 Rosedale Hwy, search for 8290 R or 8290 Ro.
- Remove cardinal directions if the address does not appear with them included. For example, if 1112 N California St does not appear, try searching for 1112 Ca.
Manually enter an address
In some jurisdictions, Symbium allows you to enter an address and associated property data manually. When this option is available, a pencil icon will appear with the label Enter a different address.
Important: When entering a custom address, you are responsible for ensuring accuracy. An incorrect address may result in delays, revisions, or permit cancellation.
Still cannot find the address?
If an address does not appear on Symbium after trying the steps above, it is likely not present in the jurisdiction's official property data. Symbium reflects the most current GIS data provided by the jurisdiction and does not have the authority to update it.
Contact the jurisdiction directly to request that the address be added. Once added, it will be available on Symbium following a short update period.
