If the manufacturer or model you are looking for is not available in the dropdown, it can be entered manually. Symbium supports custom equipment entry for cases where equipment is not yet in the Symbium database.
How to enter equipment manually
A note at the top of the equipment selection section confirms that manual entry is available if your equipment is not listed.
Enter the manufacturer name
Type the manufacturer name in the Manufacturer field. If the manufacturer is not found, a Click here to specify a different brand option will appear in the dropdown – either as you type or by scrolling down. Click it to confirm you are adding a custom entry.
Enter the model name
In the Model field, click Click here to specify a different model and type the model name.
Fill in the equipment specifications
Since the equipment is not in the Symbium database, technical specifications will need to be entered manually. Have the equipment data sheet on hand. You will need values like wattage, voltage, and current ratings from the manufacturer's specification sheet.
