You may receive email notifications from Symbium if you have been added to a project as a property owner, licensed contractor, or another project contact. When you are listed as a contact on a permit application, Symbium sends notifications to keep you informed about important project updates.
These updates may include:
- Inclusion as a contact (owner, contractor, or applicant)
- Permit record creation
- Permit issuance
- Permit fee payment reminders
- Revision requests or updates
Does a notification mean I need to take action?
Not necessarily. Many notifications are informational only.
Symbium cannot tell you whether a specific notification requires action on your part. In some cases, such as a fee payment reminder, the action may have already been completed by the person who filed the application. If you are unsure, contact the person who filed the permit application, such as the licensed contractor, for clarification.
Notifications from your city or county
In some cases, you may also receive notifications directly from the jurisdiction's permitting portal. These notifications are sent by the jurisdiction and are outside of Symbium's control. For questions about jurisdiction notifications, contact your jurisdiction directly.
